ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Neighbors chased away a man who tried to kidnap an Alpharetta woman, police said. The victim was about to carry her groceries inside the Westside Commons condominiums Sunday when police said Arnold Ray Harris tried to kidnap and rape her. The young woman struggled and yelled for help. “She definitely was screaming for her life, and you knew that someone was in trouble,” said Chris Olver, a neighbor who, along with his brother T.J., ran over to try to help the woman. “Me and my brother ran to the second floor and got a short description of the guy and went running outside with a spotlight,” said T.J. Olver.
